Christian Rehab Centers

Recovery from addiction can be a difficult road. Faith can be incredibly helpful during this process. It gives you something to believe in while you work past your addiction. It gives you something to rely on. The Christian Track Program allows you to regain control over your life while strengthening your relationship with God.

Christian Track Program

Faith is Empowering

Addiction can consume you. Often, those who suffer addiction believe that they are sinners who are unworthy of God’s love and forgiveness. The Christian Track Program at Her House can give you the tools you need to work past your addiction while strengthening your faith. We combine the steps to recovery with lessons from the Bible. You will learn that your addiction doesn’t make you a sinner; addiction is an illness. With the help of spiritual leaders, you can learn how to forgive yourself and seek the forgiveness of God.

Bible Study and Prayer

``Don't measure the size of the mountain. Talk to the one who can move it`` - Unknown

The Christian Track Program offers lessons from the Bible, giving you a direct connection to God through his Word. Bible study brings you together with a group of like-minded individuals. This fellowship gives you a community of people who are facing the same struggle as you. You can connect with people who are further along in their recovery but were once in your shoes as well those who have come in after you but are where you once were. These people can be your support network. When things become tough, you have a network of people from whom you can receive support and encouragement. You also have the opportunity to offer these things to other members of your group when they are having hard days.

Prayer and prayer groups also offer their own unique advantages. When taking time for individual prayers you can:

  • Have quiet time to self-reflect and speak directly to God.
  • Reflect on the Word you have been taught.
  •  Work through some of your own struggles. Ask God for help.
  • Take time to pray for someone you know is struggling.

Group prayers can give you:

  • A way to ask for help when you need it.
  • Prayers from many people at once.
  • A way to come join in with others to pray for someone else who needs help.
  • Reassurance that you are not alone and are worthy of God’s love and assistance.

Working with Spiritual Leaders

The spiritual leaders of the Christian Track Program are there to help you. Not only do they share your same faith, they are trained professionals who have been where you are now. They know the importance of maintaining a relationship with God throughout your recovery and beyond. They can:

  • Offer you encouragement.
  • Provide lessons from the Bible, connecting you to God’s Word.
  • Lead fellowship groups, providing you with a group of people who share your faith and your struggles.
  • Give you someone to talk to who has been where you are.  These leaders can also offer you advice that connects to the Bible.
  • Pray for you when you need extra prayers, but are too afraid to ask a group.

Benefits of Faith Based Recovery

``Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase`` - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Your recovery and your faith are equally important. We want to see you succeed. The Christian Track Program gives you the tools you need to fight your addiction while strengthening your relationship with God through the teachings of the Bible. Not only do we help you stay on the path to recovery. There are many benefits to our program:

  • You can incorporate God’s lessons into your recovery.
  • Teachings from the Bible and connecting them to your recovery can strengthen your beliefs.
  • You can be a part of a community who shares your faith and your struggles, letting you know that you are never alone.
  • A like-minded community allows for a stronger support network, as your peers understand where you have come from and where you are now.
  • Being part of a community allows you to seek help from people who have been where you are now and understand your struggle.  It also allows for you to offer help to those who are currently where you used to be.
  • You can learn to understand the role that addiction has played in your life.  It hasn’t been the easiest path, but the struggle was given to you for a reason.

The path to recovery is often not the easiest. But when you make the choice to travel it, you have already taken a huge step. Having faith in God can be a great help in recovering. At Her House, our Christian Track Program believes that recovery and faith are connected. We can help you combine the steps to a successful recovery with the teachings of God, strengthening your faith in the process. You are worthy of both a successful recovery and God’s love.
