Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is centered on helping you change the way you think, subsequently changing the way you behave and feel. Many of the problems addiction causes are centered on the way that women think. CBT offers viable solutions to change your mindset.

“The first principle of cognitive therapy is that all your moods are created by your 'cognitions,' or thoughts. A cognition refers to the way you look at things - your perceptions, mental attitudes, and beliefs. It includes the way you interpret things - what you say about something or someone to yourself.`` - David D. Burns
Family Therapy
At Her House Rehab, we believe in helping the entire family. We incorporate family therapy as a useful tool for the whole family. Addiction and mental health disorders affect those around us. The family system also deserves solutions for their own recovery. We hope to educate the families about the disease and the process of recovery. We want to offer your family new and healthier approaches.
Outdoor Therapy
Outdoor Therapy is designed to help women get in touch with their soul. Outdoor Therapy is a significant part of the healing process. Spending time in nature has proved to be healing and beneficial for women who are suffering from addiction and mental health disorders.
Yoga & Meditation
We offer yoga and meditation workshops at Her House. These techniques have been used for years to aid in relaxation efforts and personal growth. Yoga and meditation can help calm anxieties and can help women grow on a spiritual level. We believe both of these can be a powerful source of help and hope.
``For many people, managing pain involves using prescription medicine in combination with complementary techniques like physical therapy, yoga, and massage. I appreciate this because I truly believe medical care should address the person as a whole - their mind, body, and spirit.`` - Naomi Judd
Neuro-feedback
This type of therapy is an exercise for the brain. Neuro-feedback enables you to alter your brain waves, thereby you gain the ability to change the way thoughts are processed. We use biofeedback to display your brain wave activities. This can be very useful for the recovery of addiction and mental health disorders.
Group Therapy
Group therapy can be a strong aspect in your personal recovery. One of the greatest benefits of group therapy at Her House is the connection with other women who are experiencing the same things as you are. Group therapy is about educating and relating. The support networks born in group therapy can be a source of encouragement and guidance for years to come.

If you are suffering from substance addiction and/or a mental health disorder, one or a combination of any of these therapies could be right for you.

Call Her House today and speak to a leading expert on our staff about getting help. We have the resources and tools that can help you live a life free from the chains of addiction and mental health disorders.
