Rehabilitation from drug or alcohol addiction isn’t a simple process – the issues involved are complex and go beyond mere detox or therapy. Patients in recovery need more than one tool to make the most of their treatment. You can’t use a hammer for a screw – which is why Her House is happy to provide a plethora of resources to our patients. As part of our individualized addiction treatment plans, we will apply the most appropriate cases for your particular case
Types of Resources Available
- Chefs on Site
- Christian and Faith-Based Programs
It’s important to us that our patients are treated as individuals with unique treatment needs. To achieve this, His and Her House provides complete pre-screening assessments to help each of our clients devise the best strategy for healing. We start this process on the first call. Afterward, a full medical evaluation and psychological assessment is done at our facility. The result is a fully personalized addiction and mental health treatment plan for each of our clients.
Resources After Admission
Her House facilities offer several resources to aid your recovery after you’ve joined us. There is access to our state-of-the-art athletic and gym facilities, on-site chefs and nutritionist-designed diet plans, faith-based programs and Christian programs, outdoor and other experiential therapies, and evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and neurofeedback sessions.
Resources for Families
The Her House “Seven Realities Program” is geared specifically to educate and assist the families of our clients to make their way through the rehabilitation process. Working with the families of our clients, we identify codependent and enabling behavior and tendencies, and educate the whole family how to avoid them. It continues after discharge with techniques to help both the patient and the family to strategize for the days and months coming up. These and the other resources for families are enormously helpful in the long-term maintenance of sobriety.
Resources After Discharge
Her House alumni programs provide support and connections with like-minded individuals long after you’ve finished an intensive program. Continuing self-improvement after discharge is the best way to maintain your sobriety. It can also help recovering addicts maintain the friendships they’ve made while in residential treatment. We will also help you find support meetings such as NA or AA to continue along the 12 step programs you’ve begin while with us at Her House.
